Specific Third Parties in the USA

The thesis presents the characteristics of third parties and to demonstrate that the effect of their actions is marginal, and their only real function is to provide new ideas for the dominant parties. With the gathered material It will also be shown that this condition has been going on for almost a hundred years. These parties do not win major elections and have no representation in the House of Representatives or the Senate. The work shows their weaknesses and marginality.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie charakterystyki partii trzecich i wykazanie, iż efekt ich działań ma charakter marginalny, a jedyną ich funkcją realną jest dostarczanie nowych punktów dla programu partii dominujących. Dzięki zebranemu materiałowi wykazane zostanie ponadto, iż stan ten utrzymuje się już od niemal stu lat. Partie te nie wygrywają znaczących wyborów oraz nie mają reprezentacji Izbie Reprezentantów czy w Senacie. W pracy została wykazana ich słabość i marginalność.
