Documentary film as a work of art. A philosophical analysis

Przedmiotem pracy jest charakterystyka filmu dokumentalnego Samotność dźwięku w reżyserii Jacka Bławuta w oparciu o teorię Romana Ingardena. W rozdziale pierwszym przedstawiono wybrane nurty artystyczne i teoretyczne dotyczące historii i teorii filmu. W rozdziale drugim przeanalizowano refleksję Ingardena dotyczącą filmu oraz jego koncepcję sytuacji estetycznej. Kolejny, ostatni rozdział to próba własnej interpretacji wybranego filmu w kontekście opisywanych, estetycznych rozważań Ingardena.

The work focuses on characterization of a documentary film “Samotność dźwięku” directed by Jacek Blawut based on Roman Ingarden’s theory. In the first chapter chosen artistic and theoretical mainstreams regarding the history and theory of the film are presented. In the second chapter Ingarden’s reflection over film and his conception of stylistic’s situation were analysed. The last chapter is an attempt of personal interpretation of the chosen film in the context of described, esthetical Ingarden’s speculations.
