Polish Hungarian solidarity in 1956

Węgierska rewolucja była zainspirowana poznańskim październikiem. Informacje o uzyskanych przez Polaków koneksjach dały Węgrom nadzieje na zmiany. Polska władza początkowo popierała rewolucję, dopóki nie zaczęła się bać o własne interesy i o rozwój podobnego scenariusza w Polsce. The Hungarian Revolution was inspired by the events in Poland, notably the workers' revolt in June 1956. News of the concessions won by the Poles, known as Polish October, emboldened many Hungarians to hope for similar concessions for Hungary. The Polish Parliament at the beginning support the Hungarian Rewolution, but later worry about their own interests. The spontaneous support of the Polish people to the Hungarian rising.
