Juridical Position of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Republic of Poland

The topic of the thesis is the legal position of Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Republic of Poland. Its aim is to show the history of the Lutheran Church, to discuss the current legal position, the organizational structure and the manifestations of activity. The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents the history of the Protestant Reformation, the Church's rule of faith, rites, and also shows the story of the rise of Lutheranism in Poland. The second chapter deals with the legal position of the Church. The sources of law which are presented in the chapter underpin its operation. In turn, the third chapter discusses the organizational structure of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland, and also shows the territorial and numerical scope. The last chapter presents the various activities of the Church through which it preaches Gospel.

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest położenie prawne Kościoła Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Jej celem jest pokazanie historii Kościoła Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego, omówienie jego obecnej pozycji prawnej, struktury organizacyjnej i przejawów działalności. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Rozdział pierwszy przedstawia historię reformacji protestanckiej, zasady wiary Kościoła, obrzędy, a także ukazuje historię powstania luteranizmu w Polsce. Rozdział drugi zajmuje się pozycją prawną Kościoła. Przedstawione są tutaj źródła prawa, na których opiera się jego funkcjonowanie. Z kolei rozdział trzeci omawia strukturę organizacyjną Kościoła Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego w Polsce, a także przedstawia zasięg terytorialny i liczbowy. W ostatnim rozdziale zaprezentowano różne formy działalności Kościoła, dzięki którym możliwe jest głoszenie Ewangelii.
