Utility of open-ended investment fund’s finantial reports from perspective of domicile and international legal regulations.

The main goal of the thesis is to conduct analysis of information included in investment funds from different countries. Thanks to this analysis the utility of financial statements has been evaluated from the investors point of view. Moreover the thesis specifies goals of preparation of open-ended investment fund’s financial statements and describes legal regulations which they were based on. These issues are presented from perspective of three different countries in which there are three different legal standards.

Głównym celem niniejszej pracy jest przeprowadzenie analizy informacji zawartych w sprawozdaniach finansowych funduszy inwestycyjnych z różnych krajów. Dzięki tej analizie oceniona została użyteczność danych sprawozdawczych w procesie podejmowania decyzji inwestycyjnych przez inwestorów. Ponadto praca określa cele tworzenia sprawozdań finansowych otwartych funduszy inwestycyjnych oraz opisuje regulacje prawne będące ich podstawą. Zagadnienia te przedstawiono z perspektywy trzech różnych krajów, w których obowiązują odmienne regulacje prawne.
