Celem mojej pracy jest ukazanie podłoża stosunków polsko- węgierskich w okresie średniowiecza. W szczególności analizie poddane zostały zawarte unie i ich wpływ na wzajemne relacje biorąc pod uwagę aspekt społeczno- polityczny. Podstawowe pytanie odnosi się do tego, jak kształtowała się wspólna współpraca w momencie, gdy pojawiały się polityczne rozbieżności, a do głosu dochodziło zagrożenie ze strony wroga. Całość rozważań opiera się na publikacjach, poświęconych przedstawionemu przeze mnie zagadnieniu.

The aim of my thesis is to show the genesis of polish and hungarian relationship in the Middle Ages. In particular my analysis is premised on concluded unions between both countries and their impact on mutual relations, especially taking into consideration social and political sides. The basic question refers to the way of forming bilateral cooperation mainly when political divergences were appearing and enemy threats were coming to the fore. The whole thesis is based on publications, which devote attention to the topic presented by myself.
