Problems of revitalisation based on examples City of Kielce and Cracov.

This master’s thesis documents the issue of revitalization. It describes legal, spatial and social aspects of revitalisation. It brings up a question of the process on the example of two cities: City of Kielce and Cracow (district Kazimierz). Master’s thesis describes problems of conducting the process of revitalization and the negative effects of improperly prepared urban renewal. The study analyzed the authors survey took on the residents of both cities for the thesis connected with social development of selected areas. The work is based on the literature on revitalization, legal acts, press releases and our own researches.

Praca jest poświęcona zagadnieniu rewitalizacji. Podejmuje aspekty prawne, przestrzenne oraz społeczne. Ukazuje przebieg procesu na przykładzie dwóch miast: Kielc i krakowskiego Kazimierza. Porusza problemy w przeprowadzeniu procesu rewitalizacji oraz negatywnych skutków nieprawidłowo przygotowanej odnowy miasta. W pracy analizowane jest autorskie badanie ankietowe mieszkańców obu miast pod kątem społecznej rozwoju wybranych obszarów. Praca opiera się na literaturze dotyczącej rewitalizacji, przedmiotowych aktach prawnych, materiałach prasowych oraz własnych badaniach autora.
