The state of constant creation - about the work of Jerzy Jarocki at Grzebanie and Błądzenie

Praca licencjacka przedstawia dwa przedstawienia Jerzego Jarockiego: dokładnie etapy tworzenia – od pomysłu do przedstawienia teatralnego. Analizowałam zmiany jakie zaszły w trakcie wystawiania spektaklu – od premiery do ostatniego przebiegu. Poszukiwałam różnic w nagraniach inscenizacji z teatru i Teatru Telewizji. Scenariusze oparte są na biografiach znanych pisarzy: Stanisława Ignacego Witkiewicza i Witolda Gombrowicza. Dlatego skupiłam się również na tym, z jakiego powodu Jarocki wybrał taki temat, a w szczególności na wybranych przez niego źródłach i w jaki sposób dokonał ich montażu.

The thesis is about two performances of the famous polish theatre director Jerzy Jarocki: particularly about the state of preparation – from the idea to the show in the theatre. I followed the changes he made in the process of staging – from the premiere till the last performance. I also understood the differences between the recordings of the performances from the theatre and the ones for television. The scenarios are based on biographies of two important polish writers: Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz and Witold Gombrowicz. I focused also on Jarocki’s choice of the theme and how he created the scripts – mostly choice of sources and assembly.
