Czy Bóg to νοῦς? . Metafizyka Platona a pierwsze zasady u Alkinousa w świetle analizy filologicznej.

Celem mojej pracy jest odpowiedź na pytanie, czy w pismach Platona można znaleźć na bazie analizy sposobu użycia słowa νοῦς uzasadnienie dla dokonanego przez Alkinousa przypisania Bogu tożsamości νοῦς. Dla osiągnięcia tego celu omówiłem różne, współcześnie stosowane metody interpretacji dialogów Platona, po to by w duchu badaczy szkoły z Tübingen, podjąć temat nauk niepisanych i pierwszych zasad u filozofa. Bazując na wynikach tych dociekań, zaprezentowałem zawarte w Didaskalikosie poglądy Alkinousa na temat pierwszych zasad ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem tematu bogów, a zwłaszcza Pierwszego Boga. Skrótowo zestawiłem także twierdzenia Alkinousa z wypowiedziami Platona na podobny temat. W końcu przystąpiłem do weryfikacji postawionego przeze mnie problemu badawczego. Za pomocą metody korpusowejw duchu Firthiańskim zbadałem teksty Platona pod kątem sposobu użycia lemmy νοῦς. Z wszystkich wystąpień wyrazu wybierałem te, których kontekst użycia może wskazywać na utożsamienie Boga z νοῦς. Bliższa analiza pozwoliła mi na to, by odpowiedzieć na pytanie badawcze, stwierdzając, że w pismach Platona można znaleźć uzasadnienie dla dokonanego przez Alkinousa przypisania Bogu tożsamości νοῦς.

Main goal of my thesis is to answer the question whether justification for Alcinous' assignment to God the identity of νοῦς can be found on the basis of analysis of the use of the word νοῦς in Plato's writings. To achieve this goal, I discussed the various methods of interpretation of Plato's dialogues used nowadays and I took up the subject of the unwritten doctrines and of the first principles in Plato's philosophy in the spirit of researchers from the school in Tübingen. Basing on the results of these investigations, I presented the ideas of Alcinous contained in "The Handbook of Platonism" on the first principles, with particular emphasis on the subject of the gods, especially the First God. I also compared Alcinous' statements with Plato's statements on a similar subject. Finally, I verified the research problem I posed. Using the corpus method in the Firthian spirit, I examined the texts of Plato in terms of how to use the lemma νοῦς. From all samples of the word I chose those whose context of use may indicate the identification of God with νοῦς. A closer analysis allowed me to answer the research question, stating that in Plato's writings one can find justification for Alcinous' assignment the identity of νοῦς to God.
