The influence of emotional intelligence and communication in close relationships on sexual satisfaction.

The aim of this study was to analyze and verify the relationship between emotional intelligence and communication in close relationships and their dimensions, and sexual satisfaction. Data were collected from 120 people who were in formal or informal relationships, in the 18-71 age range. The following tools were used to conduct the study: the Popular Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (PKIE), the Marriage and Partnership Communication Questionnaire (KKMiP) and the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there is a relationship between the variables studied. The work includes a discussion of results, practical implications and directions for further research.

Celem niniejszej pracy była analiza i weryfikacja zachodzących relacji pomiędzy inteligencją emocjonalną i komunikacją w bliskich związkach oraz ich wymiarami a satysfakcją seksualną. Dane zebrano od 120 osób będących w związkach formalnych a także nieformalnych, w przedziale wiekowym 18-71 lat. Do przeprowadzenia badania zastosowano następujące narzędzia: Popularny Kwestionariusz Inteligencji Emocjonalnej (PKIE), Kwestionariusz Komunikacji Małżeńskiej i Partnerskiej (KKMiP) oraz Kwestionariusz Satysfakcji Seksualnej. Wyniki analizy statystycznej wykazały, że istnieje związek pomiędzy badanymi zmiennymi. W pracy zamieszczono dyskusję wyników, implikacje praktyczne i kierunki dalszych badań.
