Competencies of the President of the Republic of Poland in extraordinary measures and in case of the war

This thesis has been constructed in order to produce the president's competencies during extraordinary measures and in case of the war. The extraordinary measures are : martial law, a state of emergency and a state of natural disaster. I have also presented the role of the president in case of a state of war. Mainly, I tried to concentrate on the role and tasks of the president when it comes to the situations in which ordinary constitutional measures are inadequate. When writing I made use of the constitution of the Republic of Poland diffrent publictions and articles devoted to this issue.

Tematem mojej pracy są kompetencje prezydenta RP w stanach nadzwyczajnych i na wypadek wojny. Stany nadzwyczajne to : stan wojenny, stan wyjątkowy i stan klęski żywiołowej. Osobny temat stanowi stan wojny. Jednakże głównym celem mojej pracy było przedstawienie roli i zadań prezydenta RP dotyczących sytuacji w których zwykłe środki konstytucyjne są niewystarczające. W swojej pracy wykorzystałem fachowa literaturę, liczne publikacje i artykuły a także akty prawne, w tym Konsytucję RP.
