Media in the service of politics. The means of manipulation in the messages about reform of judiciary in Poland current in TVN24’s “Czarno na białym” and TVP Info’s “Nie da się ukryć”

Głównym celem pracy jest wskazanie i analiza sposobów manipulacji w przekazach poświęconych reformie sądownictwa w magazynach TVP Info i TVN24. Pojawiają się one w warstwie werbalnej, a także wizualnej. Część teoretyczna dotyczy powiązań między polityką a mediami oraz teoretycznych rozważań na temat manipulacji. W pracy jest też poruszona kwestia etyczności zaangażowania dziennikarzy w politykę.

The main objective of the BA thesis is ostension and analysis in the means of manipulation in the messages about reform of judiciary in the magazines of TVN24 and TVP Info. Manipulations appear in verbal and visual stratum. The theoretical section talk about links between politics and mass media and theoretical considerations about manipulation. The issue of ethicality of journalists’ involvement in politics is touched also in BA.
