Praktyki ograniczania dostępu do informacji w Internecie. Próba typologii

The importance of studying of the issues of censorship is increasing along with the rapid development of telecommunications. The aim of the work is to present to the recipients the problem that we face in the Internet era, specifically censorship in the global network, all its manifestations - blocking and filtering content. Work is intended towards finding the necessary reliable, up-to-date sources and thematic websites. The research done in this thesis allowed to present the problem from the systematized, practically standpoint. It made possible to define the exist types of censorship. It showed how to distinguish legitimate and not legitimate blocking thus demonstrating what distinguishes the filtering in the global network from traditional censorship. The findings were empirically proved by the attempt to check the blocked websites as a Russian user with and without the means of bypassing the censorship. The outcomes of the research can be useful for the Internet users in countries applying the internet filtration and for those who are interested in the question. Most of the information on a given topic was too diffuse, but all the information on a given topic in a given work was developed and included. Research limitations of the work included impossibility to check experimentally methods of bypassing censorship in China to compare it with the work done on the case of Russia.

Wraz z szybkim rozwojem telekomunikacyjnym, coraz częściej porusza się temat cenzury. Celem pracy było przedstawienie odbiorcom tego problemu. Cenzura w sieci globalnej i wszystkie jej przejawy – blokowanie oraz filtrowanie treści, to powszechny problem w Internecie XXI wieku. Na początku wyszukałem wiarygodne i aktualne źródła oraz serwisy tematyczne. Z ich pomocą udało mi się przedstawić sam problem w zrozumiałej i praktycznej formie, pokazać typy cenzury, które istnieją i wyróżnić uprawomocnione i nielegalne blokowanie i filtrowanie treści. W pracy chciałem też przedstawić czym różni się filtrowanie w sieci globalnej od standardowej cenzury. Jednym z ograniczeń, które napotkałem była niemożliwość sprawdzenia jak działają metody do obejścia cenzury w Chinach. Metody obejścia testowałem tylko na stronach oficjalnie zablokowanych w Rosji, używając rosyjskiego adresu IP. Opisane i sprawdzone na przykładach metody będą pomocne i interesujące dla internautów oraz badaczy zainteresowanych tematem. Większość informacji była rozproszona, ale udało mi się opracować oraz ująć w tej pracy wszystko co najważniejsze.
