Development of the residential and office real estate in Poland

Niniejsza praca stanowi próbę podjęcia zagadnień teoretycznych związanych z sektorem nieruchomości oraz przybliżenia aktualnej sytuacji sektora nieruchomości zarówno w Polsce, jak również w Unii Europejskiej. Sektor nieruchomości cieszy się dużym zainteresowaniem w większości państw członkowskich włącznie z Polską. Przedstawione rozważania pozwoliły na wskazanie nowych trendów, z którymi mierzą się uczestnicy tego rynku. Praca została oparta na analizie odnośnej literatury oraz dokumentów. Wykorzystano dane z Eurostatu oraz raport ,,Zmiany na rynku nieruchomości’’. Najważniejsza część pracy przedstawiająca dynamikę sektora nieruchomości w Polsce została opracowana w oparciu o dane Narodowego Banku Polskiego oraz dane z Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego.

This thesis attempts to explore theoretical issues concerning real estate sector and to broadly discuss the current condition of real estate sector both in Poland and in other EU member states. Recently, an increased interest in real property may be observed in majority of EU member states, including Poland. Deliberations presented in this thesis helped to indicate newly developing trends, which market participants have to deal with. This work has been based on a review of relevant literature as well as research papers. The author relied on data provided by Eurostat and Report ,,Housing Market Developments’’. The essential part of this thesis presenting the dynamics of real estate sector has been developed on the basis of reports issued by the National Bank of Poland and the Central Statistical Office.
