Financing sports from the budget of local government units

The subject of this work concern the issue of financing sports from the budget of local government units. The author analyzes the subject of the definition of "sport" included primarily in the Sport Act. In the entire work the author tries to indicate the subjects of financing sports. The tasks of local government units in the field of physical activity and methods of their implementation have also been analyzed. Next, this work includes the most important legal regulations concerning the basics of sports financing, i.e. the Sport Act, the Act on Public Benefit and Volunteer Work, as well as the Act on Public-Private Partnership.

Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie problematyki finansowania sportu z budżetu jednostek samorządu terytorialnego. Analizę tematu autorka rozpoczyna od rozważań na temat definicji „sportu” zawartej przede wszystkim w ustawie o sporcie. W treści całej pracy autorka stara się wskazać zarówno podmioty jak i przedmiot finansowania sportu. Analizie zostały także poddane zadania jednostek samorządu terytorialnego w zakresie aktywności fizycznej i sposoby ich realizacji. Kolejno wskazane zostały najważniejsze regulacje prawne dotyczące podstaw finansowania sportu, tj. ustawa o sporcie, ustawa o działalności pożytku publicznego i o wolontariacie, a także ustawa o partnerstwie publiczno – prywatnym.
