Prerogatywy Prezydenta RP jako narzędzia strażnika konstytucji

Starting from the considerations regarding the concept and development of prerogative institutions from historical point of view, through the analysis of presidency models and individual prerogatives, I tried - based on available sources, including direct interviews with living former Presidents of the Republic of Poland - to introduce both the theoretical and practical way of the use of personal rights by head of state on the basis of Polish constitutionalism, with particular emphasis on the transformation period and the current Constitution of 1997, all in the context of the task of the President of the Republic of Poland to ensure obey the Constitution.

Wychodząc od rozważań dotyczących pojęcia i rozwoju instytucji prerogatyw w ujęciu historycznym, poprzez analizę modeli prezydentury i poszczególnych prerogtyw starałem się - w oparciu o dostępne źródła, w tym bezpośrednie wywiady z żyjącymi byłymi Prezydentami RP - przybliżyć zarówno teoretyczny, jak i praktyczny wymiar stosowania uprawnień osobistych głowy państwa na gruncie polskiego konstytucjonalizmu ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem okresu transformacji oraz obecnie obowiązującej Konstytucji z 1997 roku, a to wszystko w kontekście zadania Prezydenta RP polegającego na czuwaniu nad przestrzeganiem Konstytucji.
