Zespół uzależnienia od Internetu: skala, przyczyny i skutki

Przedmiotem pracy jest zjawisko uzależnienia od Internetu. Celem zbadanie stopnia tego uzależnienia oraz jego skali, przyczyn oraz skutków. Praca napisana jest z punktu widzenia nauki o informacji. Zastosowane w pracy metody badawcze to analiza i krytyka piśmiennictwa, metoda porównawcza, metoda sondażu diagnostycznego oraz metoda statystyczna. Praca podejmuje teoretyczne zagadnienia związane z tematem oraz przedstawia opis badań własnych. W świetle przeprowadzonych badań własnych stopień uzależnienia u ankietowanych jest niski, jednak biorąc pod uwagę odpowiedzi badanych na poszczególne pytania oraz szybki rozwój technologiczny, stopień uzależnienia może wzrosnąć. Wśród ankietowanych już na ten moment można zaobserwować wiele niepokojących zachowań sprzyjających uzależnieniu oraz już występujących u nich skutków. Przeprowadzone badania mają istotne znaczenie w tej dziedzinie, ponieważ nie ma zbyt wielu badań podejmujących ocenę tego zjawiska. W związku z tym przedstawione w pracy badanie pomoże poszerzyć wiedzę na ten temat oraz dostarczyć wielu nowych i istotnych informacji.

The subject of the paper is the phenomenon of Internet addiction. The main goal of paper is to examine the extent of this addiction and its scale, causes and effects. The thesis is written from the point of view of information science. Research methods used in the work are literature analysis and criticism, comparative method, diagnostic survey method and statistical method. The work deals with theoretical issues related to the subject and presents a description of own research. In the light of the conducted own research, the level of addiction in the respondents is low, however, taking into account the respondents' answers to individual questions and rapid technological development, the level of addiction may increase. Among the respondents already at this moment one can observe many disturbing behaviors supporting addiction and their effects. The conducted research is important in this field, because there are not many studies undertaking the assessment of this phenomenon. Therefore, the study presented in the paper will help broaden knowledge on this subject and provide a lot of new and relevant information.
