Japanese demons in manga and anime

The theme of the work is the presentation of Japanese yōkai demons in the manga and anime. Japanese demons have always been an important part of Japanese folklore. Many legends and stories were created about them. Despite the passage of many years, yōkai are still present in Japanese culture and have become a very interesting topic in pop culture.The first chapter of the work focuses on the presentation of supernatural beings and their names. Some legends and stories were presented that were told and narrated in ancient Japan. Previous legends about yōkai were also touched upon.The second chapter of the work analyzes the transformation that occurred in the presentation of one of the most popular species of Japanese demons. Yōkai depicted in the manga and anime are increasingly different from those of old stories.The third chapter is devoted to showing the world in which yōkai operate. There are many imaginations, and each of them shows what the life of unknown beings can look like.The purpose of the work is to show how manga and anime have changed the image of yōkai.

Tematem przewodnim pracy jest przedstawienie japońskich demonów yōkai w mandze oraz anime. Japońskie demony od zawsze były ważną częścią japońskiego folkloru. Na ich temat powstało wiele legend i opowieści. Pomimo upływu wielu lat, yōkai wciąż są obecne w japońskiej kulturze i stały się bardzo ciekawym tematem w popkulturze. Pierwszy rozdział pracy skupia się na przedstawieniu nadprzyrodzonych istot oraz ich nazewnictwa. Przedstawione zostały niektóre legendy i opowieści, które były przekazywane oraz opowiadane w dawnej Japonii. Poruszone zostały również współcześniejsze legendy opowiadające o yōkai.Drugi rozdział pracy analizuje przemianę jaka nastąpiła w przedstawianiu jednych z popularniejszych gatunków japońskich demonów. Yōkai przedstawiane w mandze oraz anime coraz częściej różnią się od tych z dawnych opowieści.Trzeci rozdział poświęcony został na pokazanie świata, w których funkcjonują yōkai. Wyobrażeń jest wiele, a każdy z nich pokazuje jak może wyglądać życie nieznanym nam istot.Celem pracy jest pokazanie jak manga oraz anime zmieniły wizerunek yōkai.
