Performativity of winter rites and traditions in the family of Lachy Sądeckie.

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest próba przedstawienia obrzędów i tradycji regionu zamieszkałego przez grupę etniczną zwaną Lachami Sądeckimi. Głównym obszarem zainteresowania są obrzędy, które odbywają się zimą – ze względu na ich performatywny charakter. Praca opiera się na szczegółowych opisach i fotografiach, obrazujących tradycje i obrzędy regionalne, które odbywają się co roku w okresie świąt Bożego Narodzenia i Karnawału. Ważnym elementem pracy jest metodologia, która pozwala na wyjaśnienie pojęć, bez których praca nie mogłaby powstać. Pojęcia tradycji i tradycji wynalezionej stały się bardzo ważną częścią pracy. Łącza się bezpośrednio z pojęciem pamięci zbiorowej. Pojęcia te tłumaczą istotę relacji rodzinnych i tożsamości oraz kultywowania tradycji. The aim of the work is an attempt to collect the rites and traditions of the region inhabited by an ethnic group called Lachami Sądeckie. The main area of ​​interest are rituals that take place in the winter - due to their characteristics. The work is based on description and photography, it illustrates regional traditions and rituals that take place during the Christmas and Carnival holiday years. An important element of the work is the methodology that allows the concepts to be clarified, without which the work wouldn't be possible. The concepts of tradition and invented tradition are very popular parts of the work. They connect with the concept of collective memory. These concepts explain the essence of family relationships and identity, and cultivate traditions. The carnival, which is associated with the definition of winter and the period of Christmas, is very important for explenation of the essence of Caroling in the areas of Lachy Sądeckie. The work highlights traditions and rituals as an important intangible cultural heritage.
