Współczesny "mebel otwarty" - między przedmiotem użytkowym a dziełem sztuki

W pracy rozpatruję nową, kształtującą się współcześnie tendencję w projektowaniu mebli. W rozdziale pierwszym zaprezentowałam autorską definicję mebli otwartych, ich trzy główne cechy oraz konteksty społeczno-ekologiczne, do których się odnoszą. W kolejnym przedstawiłam tło historyczne i potencjalne wpływy kształtujące tendencję od roku 1959, gdy Oskar Hansen zaprezentował "Teorię Formy Otwartej". Rozdział trzeci stanowi przegląd 15 mebli zagranicznych oraz 15 polskich, które reprezentują wspomnianą tendencję w projektowaniu. Ostatni rozdział to próba odpowiedzi na zagadnienie przedstawione w tytule. Zrewidowałam tam aktualność zasad dobrego designu Dietera Ramsa, zwróciłam uwagę na takie aspekty jak użyteczność mebli otwartych, projektowanie dla użytkownika idealnego oraz niewielki wpływ młodych twórców na rynek sprzedaży.

The master thesis considers a new trend in the furniture design. Firstly, I presented my own definition of "open furniture", its three main features and the socio-ecological contexts they refer to. The second chapter showed historical background and the potential influences shaping the trend since 1959, when Oskar Hansen presented the "Open Form" theory. Chapter three provides an overview of examples of foreign and Polish furniture that represent the above-mentioned design trend. The last chapter is an attempt to answer the issue presented in the title. As part of it, I revised the topicality of the principles of good design by Dieter Rams, pay attention to such design problems as usefulness of open furniture, designing for an ideal user, as well as little impact on the sales market of young designers.
