The reading room of the "Proswita" Society in Wierzbica 1884-1939 : reconstruction

W monografii podjęto próbę zrekonstruowania aktywności Czytelni "Proswita" w Wierzbicy, zlokalizowanej na terenie polsko-ukraińskiego historycznego, kulturowego, religijnego i językowego pogranicza, której rdzenna ludność ukraińska od wieków zamieszkująca tę wieś, została przymusowo wysiedlona.

In monography an attempt was made to reconstruct the activity of the "Proswita" Reading Room in Wierzbica, located in the Polish-Ukrainian historical, cultural, religious and linguistic borderland, where the indigenous Ukrainian people who have lived in this village for centuries, have been forcibly displaced.
