The problem of religion according to Ludwik Feuerbach

W niniejszej pracy prezentuję poglądy Ludwika Feuerbacha na temat problemu religii, głównie w oparciu o dzieła „O istocie chrześcijaństwa” i „Wykłady o istocie religii”. Celem Feuerbacha jest przywrócenie człowiekowi godności utraconej w procesie religijnej alienacji. W pracy pokazuję, w jaki sposób zdaniem Feuerbacha teologia sprowadza się do antropologii, a także przedstawiam krytykę Feuerbacha dokonaną przez Stirnera, Marksa oraz Engelsa. Na końcu zaś pracy ukazuję stosunek Feuerbacha do myśli Hegla i do kwestii przyszłości filozofii. Myśl Feuerbacha wpłynęła na rozwój ateizmu filozoficznego XIX wieku, a także żywo oddziaływała na teologię protestancką oraz myśl marksistowską.

In this thesis I present Ludwik Feuerbach’s views on the problem of religion, mainly based on works “The Essence of Christianity” and “Lectures on the Essence of Religion”. Feuerbach’s aim is to restore human dignity lost in the process of religious alienation. In the thesis I show how Feuerbach reduces theology to anthropology and I also present criticism of Feuerbach made by Stirner, Marx, Engels. In the end of this work I present Feuerbach’s attitude to Hegel’s thought and to the question of the future of philosophy. The Feuerbach’s thought influenced development of philosophical atheism of the nineteenth century, and also had a vivid influence on Protestant theology and Marxist thought.
