Environmental preventive strategies as an area of interest in social pedagogy : evolution of pedagogical theory and practice

Artykuł stanowi refleksję nad środowiskowymi strategiami profilaktycznymi jako działaniami pozostającym w zakresie zainteresowania pedagogiki społecznej. Współczesna rzeczywistość może stanowić zarówno zagrożenie, jak i wsparcie dla jednostki w jej prawidłowym rozwoju. Dlatego ważny staje się namysł nad rozwojem strategii oddziaływań profilaktycznych, w tym tych uwzględniających nie tylko jednostkę, lecz także środowisko, w którym funkcjonuje. Szczególnego znaczenia nabiera także ewolucja rodzimej refleksji nad koniecznością realizacji działań profilaktycznych w kontekście wzmacniania zasobów środowiskowych.

The article is a reflection on environmental prevention strategies as activities of interest in social pedagogy. Contemporary reality can constitute both a threat and support for an individual in their proper development. Therefore, it becomes important to consider the development of strategies of preventive interactions, including those that refer not only to the individual, but also their environment. Of particular importance is also the evolution of the domestic reflection on the need to implement preventive measures in the context of enhancing environmental resources.
