Zaangażowanie młodzieży w politykę klimatyczną po 2019 r. na przykładzie Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej, Królestwa Niderlandów i Królestwa Danii

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przeanalizowanie zaangażowania młodzieży w politykę klimatyczną po 2019 roku na przykładzie Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej, Królestwa Niderlandów i Królestwa Danii oraz przedstawienie narzędzi umożliwiających młodym ludziom włączenie się w procesy dotyczące polityki klimatycznej. Autorka bada rolę zinstytucjonalizowanych organów, takich jak Młodzieżowa Rada Klimatyczna w Polsce i Danii oraz mniej usystematyzowanych podmiotów jak holenderski Młodzieżowy Ruch Klimatyczny oraz skalę ich zaangażowania w kształtowanie polityki klimatycznej na poziomie narodowym. Ponadto analizie poddane są również nieformalne podmioty umożliwiające młodzieży wpływ na tworzenie regulacji klimatycznych. W pracy przedstawiono także aspekt międzynarodowy i formy zaangażowania młodzieży w kształtowanie polityki klimatycznej w ramach działań podejmowanych przez Organizację Narodów Zjednoczonych. Wartością dodaną niniejszej pracy są przygotowane przez autorkę rekomendacje, które uwzględniają potrzeby młodzieży oraz braki systemowe w zakresie zaangażowania młodzieży w politykę klimatyczną, które zostały dostrzeżone w ramach analizy przeprowadzonej na potrzeby pracy. Autorka badając zagadnienie ujęte w temacie pracy, bazowała zarówno na dokumentach rządowych, aktach prawnych, jak i oficjalnych źródłach bezpośrednio związanych z omawianą tematyką. Zostały one uzupełnione o spostrzeżenia aktywistek klimatycznych, umożliwiając autorce przeprowadzenie dogłębnej analizy zjawiska zaangażowania młodzieży w politykę klimatyczną po 2019 roku w Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej, Królestwie Niderlandów i Królestwie Danii.

The aim of this dissertation is to analyze youth engagement in climate politics after 2019 on the example of the Republic of Poland, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Denmark. The author examines the role of institutionalized bodies such as the Youth Climate Council in Poland and Denmark and less structured groups such as Dutch Youth Climate Movement and the scale of their engagement in shaping climate policy on national level. Moreover, the author analyzes informal entities that enable young people to affect the development of climate regulations. The dissertation focuses also on the international perspective and forms of youth engagement in climate politics within the UN system. An added value of this dissertation is a set of recommendations prepared by the author herself – recommendations include the needs of youth and systemic deficiencies in terms of youth engagement in climate politics that have been noticed as a part of the analysis carried out for the purpose of this work. While examining the phenomenon captured in the dissertation’s title, the author based her research on governmental documents, legal acts and official sources directly connected with dissertation’s topic. In addition, the author conducted interviews with climate activists in order to conduct in-depth analysis of youth engagement in climate politics after 2019 in the Republic of Poland, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Denmark.
