The impact of patterns of culture on the experiences of women studying technical faculties

The subject of this paper is the impact of patterns of culture on the experiences of women studying technical faculties. The theoretical part focuses on the concepts of patterns of culture, stereotypes and inequality. Using the CAWI method, I wanted to explore manifestations of these concepts in the experiences of women who study technical faculties. The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of the role of cultural patterns in limiting women's access to given professions.

Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest wpływowi wzorów kulturowych na doświadczenia studentek kierunków technicznych. Część teoretyczna została oparta na pojęciach wzorów kulturowych, stereotypów oraz nierówności. Za pomocą badania przeprowadzonego metodą CAWI chciałam poznać ich przejawy w doświadczeniach studentek kierunków technicznych. Praca ma na celu podkreślenie znaczenia roli wzorów kulturowych w ograniczaniu dostępu kobiet do danych zawodów.
