Agamben po polsku. Teoretyczne i praktyczne aspekty przekładu tekstu filozoficznego

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza specyfiki przekładu tekstu filozoficznego w aspekcie teoretycznym i praktycznym. Odpowiednio do tego podwójnego celu praca podzielona jest na dwie części.Pierwsza część stanowi analizę teoretyczną kluczowych aspektów przekładu dzieł filozoficznych. Fenomenologia Edmunda Husserla oraz Romana Ingardena zostaje przyjęta jako główny metodologiczny punkt odniesienia. Analizy zaczynają się od pytania o charakter tekstu filozoficznego oraz o jego implikacje traduktologiczne. Postawiona zostaje teza, że dyskurs filozoficzny ma własną specyfikę, nieredukowalną do dyskursu literackiego ani naukowego (w sensie nauk empirycznych lub formalnych). Analizie poddano tu szereg teoretycznych problemów dotyczących przekładu tekstu filozoficznego, między innymi: status znaczenia, kwestia przekładalności, struktura tekstu filozoficznego, waga tradycji filozoficznej, cel i funkcja przekładu.W drugiej części przedstawiony zostaje własny przekład nietłumaczonego do tej pory na język polski eseju Giorgio Agambena ''La passione della fatticità'', który poświęcony jest filozofii Martina Heideggera. Tłumaczenie opatrzono komentarzem traduktologicznym. Po omówieniu specyfiki przełożonego eseju, okoliczności jego powstania i miejsca w twórczości włoskiego myśliciela, analizie zostają poddane konkretne problemy translatorskie napotkane w trakcie tłumaczenia.

Lo scopo della presente tesi di laurea è analizzare la specificità della traduzione del testo filosofico sotto l'aspetto teorico e pratico. Attenendosi a questo duplice obiettivo, la tesi si compone di due parti principali.La prima parte è un'analisi teorica degli aspetti chiave della traduzione di opere filosofiche. La fenomenologia di Edmund Husserl e di Roman Ingarden è adottata qui come punto di riferimento metodologico principale. L’analisi parte dalla domanda sulla natura del testo filosofico e sulle sue implicazioni traduttologiche. Secondo la tesi esposta, il discorso filosofico ha una sua specificità irriducibile né al discorso letterario né scientifico (nel senso di scienze empiriche o formali). Vengono qui esaminati alcuni problemi teorici riguardanti la traduzione del testo filosofico, tra l'altro: lo statuto del significato, la questione della traducibilità, la struttura del testo filosofico, l'importanza della tradizione filosofica, lo scopo e la funzione della traduzione. La seconda parte contiene la traduzione del saggio di Giorgio Agamben ''La passione della fatticità'' dedicato alla filosofia di Martin Heidegger, finora non tradotto in polacco. La traduzione proposta è accompagnata da un commento traduttologico. Dopo la presentazione della specificità del saggio in questione, delle circostanze della sua creazione e del suo posto nell'opera del pensatore italiano, diversi problemi traduttivi incontrati vengono analizzati.

The aim of the present thesis is to analyze the specificity of translating a philosophical text in both theoretical and practical aspects. Accordingly to this dual purpose, the thesis is divided into two parts.The first part is a theoretical analysis of the key aspects of translating philosophical works. The phenomenology elaborated by Edmund Husserl and Roman Ingarden is adopted here as the main methodological point of reference. The analysis starts with the question on the nature of a philosophical text and its traductological implications. A thesis is put forward that philosophical discourse has its own specificity, irreducible neither to literary nor to scientific discourse (in the sense of empirical or formal sciences). A number of theoretical problems concerning the translation of a philosophical text are examined here, such as: the status of meaning, the question of translatability, the structure of a philosophical text, the importance of the philosophical tradition, the purpose and function of translation.The second part presents the translation of Giorgio Agamben's essay ''La passione della fatticità'' devoted to Martin Heidegger’s thought, which has not been translated into Polish so far. The text is accompanied by a traductological commentary. After discussing the specificity of the Agamben’s essay, the circumstances of its creation and its place in the work of the Italian thinker, concrete translation problems encountered are analyzed.
