The postulate of gender equality and the actual role of women in left-wing parties in Poland between 2015 and 2021

Poniższa praca, zatytułowana ,,Postulat równouprawnienia a rzeczywista rola kobiet w partiach lewicowych w Polsce w latach 2015-2021", ma na celu zweryfikowanie tezy, iż pomimo partyjnej deklaracji równouprawnienia, kobiety nie odgrywały istotnej roli w partiach lewicowych w Polsce w latach 2015-2021. Składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Pierwszy, teoretyczny to przedstawienie genezy zjawiska równouprawnienia kobiet oraz jego rozwoju. W drugim rozdziale analizie poddane zostały programy partii lewicowych pod względem występowania w nich postulatów dotyczących równouprawnienia. Rozdział trzeci to analiza ilości kobiet na listach wyborczych oraz miejsc które im przyznano, ilości kobiet w organach partyjnych oraz komisjach parlamentarnych jak i funkcji jakie w nich pełnią oraz inicjatyw ustawodawczych pod względem tego czy dotyczą kwestii równouprawnienia.

The following paper, entitled , "The postulate of gender equality and the actual role of women in left-wing parties in Poland in 2015-2021", aims to verify the thesis that despite the party declaration of gender equality, women did not play an important role in left-wing parties in Poland between 2015 and 2021. It consists of three chapters. The first, theoretical, is a presentation of the genesis of the phenomenon of women's equality and its development. The second chapter analyzes the programs of left-wing parties in terms of the presence of gender equality postulates in them. The third chapter analyses the number of women on electoral lists and the number of seats allocated to them, the number of women in party bodies and parliamentary committees as well as their functions and legislative initiatives in terms of whether they relate to gender equality issues.
