Wahlslogans zur Bundestagswahl 2017 und zur Parlamentswahl in Polen 2019 : eine formale, pragmalinguistische und inhaltlich-konzeptuelle Analyse
The aim of this paper is to analyze and compare selected election campaign slogans in
Polish and German. The analysis takes into account formal, semantic, pragmatic and
conceptual aspects. The analyzed election slogans come from posters for the 2017 federal
election in Germany and the 2019 parliamentary election in Poland. These are both candidate
and party campaign slogans. Only slogans are analyzed, however, if necessary, other
elements of the respective poster, such as the candidate’s picture or name, are also taken
into account.
