Social and cultural changes in Oman on the example of the works of Suʿūd Al-Muẓaffar

Niniejsza praca obejmuje zagadnienia związane z literaturą w Omanie oraz twórczością Suʿūda Al-Muẓaffara. Na podstawie twórczości autora zostały w niej omówione przemiany związane ze zmianą władzy i filozofii politycznej, aby przybliżyć czytelnikowi dynamikę zmian w sferze religii, tradycyjnego sposobu postrzegania świata oraz relacji społecznych z którymi musiała uporać się ludność danego regionu. Praca opisuje wieloaspektową tożsamość kraju, aby umożliwić czytelnikowi dogłębne zrozumienie złożoności społeczeństwa i zachodzących w nim intensywnych zmian. Zwraca uwagę na korzyści wynikające z otwarcia się kraju na wpływy zachodu oraz negatywne skutki z tym związane.

This work covers issues related to literature in Oman and the works of Suʿūd Al-Muẓaffar. On the basis of the author's work, the paper covers changes related to the change of power and political philosophy, in order to bring the reader closer to the dynamics of changes in the sphere of religion, the traditional way of perceiving the world and social relations that the population of a given region had to deal with. The work describes the country's multi-faceted identity to enable the reader to gain a thorough understanding of the complexity of society and the intense changes taking place within it. He draws attention to the benefits of opening the country to Western influences and the negative effects associated with it.
