Niniejsza praca przedstawia badania i wnioski dotyczące znaczenia regionu Arktyki w planowaniu strategicznym Federacji Rosyjskiej. Na podstawie przeglądu dostępnych dokumentów strategicznych Federacji Rosyjskiej, a także opisu czynników, które dodatkowo zabezpieczają interesy Rosji w Arktyce, można opisać region Arktyki jako mający znaczenie transportowe, energetyczne, wojskowe itp. dla strategicznej działalności Rosji.Wspomniano również o głównych dokumentach strategicznych Kanady i USA dotyczących strefy arktycznej, a także porównano współpracę między dwoma krajami Ameryki Północnej a Federacją Rosyjską. Wyniki tego badania pozwalają nam opisać wpływ głównych czynników, które należy wziąć pod uwagę w procesie skutecznego rozwoju regionów arktycznych.
This thesis presents research and conclusions about the importance of the Arctic region in the strategic planning of the Russian Federation. Based on a review of the available strategic documents of the Russian Federation, as well as a description of the factors that further secure Russia's interests in the Arctic, it is possible to describe the Arctic region as of transport, energetic, military etc. importance for Russia's strategic activity.The main strategic documents of Canada and the USA about the Arctic zone were also mentioned, as well as a comparison of co-operation between the two North American countries and the Russian Federation. The results of this study allow us to describe the influence of the main factors that need to be taken into account in the process of effective development of the Arctic regions.
