This thesis aims to study the portrayal of women in high - fantasy. The analysis is made on the basis of two selected series, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. The extracted profiles of female fantasy characters are compared with common expectations of female appearance, stereotypes, and cultural associations with gender roles. It presents what created characters have capabilities, limits, and how they are conditioned.
Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie przedstawienia kobiet w high - fantasy. Analiza zostaje dokonana na podstawie dwóch wybranych seriali jakimi są Gra o tron oraz Ród smoka. Wyodrębnione profile bohaterek fantasy są zestawione z powszechnymi wymaganiami wobec kobiecego wyglądu, stereotypami oraz kulturowymi powiązaniami z rolami płciowymi. Przedstawione jest jakie utworzone postaci mają możliwości, ograniczenia oraz w jaki sposób są warunkowane.
