Right to fair trial is one of the basis of the Polish legal system. It also applies to labor disputes heard by labor courts. They settle not only disputes between parties to the employment relationship but also other cases arise from industrial relations. Moreover, jurisdication od the labor court does not include resolution of collective labor disputes. These disputes are settled in a separate mediation or arbitration procedure.
