Education in museum : children’s museums and youth’s museums

The 21st century brings new challenges and museums more and more bravely assume responsibility for science, social education and recreation. They prepare attractive places for experiments, creative aesthetical spaces, adapt propositions and offers to diverse groups of visitors. At the same time they personalize communication with their current and potential visitors. They also invite to meetings in a virtual world. Creative activities in the field of the contemporary and traditional art may constitute a current platform for dialogue, education and upbringing children and youth. Spaces of narration, interactive, participation exhibitions in classical museums, and in particular in the museums for children and youth, are an up-to-date proposition which involve methods and didactics for learning during the entire lifetime. Adventure with museum, which has become a passion in the scientific research for the author, may also become an encouragement for everybody who discovers for himself/herself the "magic" of museums and museum objects, charm of the art and its multi-dimensional interaction. The book may inspire creative museum educators, event organisers, pedagogues, teachers or students, who will find in it inspirations for their own scientific research, theoretical deliberations, but first of all practical implications in the contemporary education for children and youth.
