Edukacja zdrowotna w procesie rehabilitacji osób z niepełnosprawnościami

Holistic and salutogenetic approach to health and evolution of notion "rehabilitation" allows to assume that rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities is combined with health education. Their aims are concentrated on improvement of quality of life and support of individuals with disabilities development. Health education is a process witch participates in establishing people’s health awareness, life skills and lifestyle. These competences help in a process of education of coping with difficulties and everyday challenges which are connected with disabilities in a physical, economical, professional, psychological and interpersonal dimensions.
