There is a certain group of popular periodicals, concerning computer games; they propose to their readers (interested in fighting games) a very special way of estimating things. It consists in joining the sets of values relating to: technological progress, modernity, aesthetic qualities, providing for psychological needs (also for the need of self-realizing in the contemporary group) into one axiological system with some drastic, often sophisticated, motives of violence and death. This offer is formulated in a specific, half-ironical way. It may encourage the hypothetical reader to negate some essential traditional values. Marks of this phenomenon are visible in the peculiar shape of semantic fields of the valuing words in the texts discussed.
