Związki kapeli karmelitów z Piasku z kapelą katedralną w XVIII wieku

Wymiana muzyków i transmisja repertuaru pomiędzy poszczególnymi ośrodkami muzycznymi w Krakowie interesują polskich muzykologów od dawna. Już w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym Adolf Chybiński - wielce zasłużony badacz krakowskiej kultury muzycznej, wspominał o powiązaniach osobowych i wymianie repertuarowej, do jakiej dochodziło w XVIII wieku pomiędzy najważniejszymi zespołami muzycznymi w Krakowie, tzn. kapelą katedralną, kapelą w kościele Mariackim i kapelą jezuicką. Do tej grupy "najważniejszych zespołów" należy dodać kapelę karmelitańską z Piasku, która w I połowie XVIII wieku miała w repertuarze m.in. dzieła Grzegorza Gerwazego Gorczyckiego - kapelmistrza kapeli katedralnej, a także utwory muzyków związanych z krakowskimi jezuitami (m.in. Jacka Szczurowskiego i Józefa Kobierkowicza). Celem artykułu jest nakreślenie, w świetle dostępnych materiałów archiwalnych (muzykaliów, inwentarzy, ksiąg rachunkowych i innych), związków pomiędzy krakowską kapelą katedralną a kapelą karmelitów z Piasku. Po krótkiej charakterystyce działalności obu zespołów, omówiono relacje między zespołami w zakresie wymiany muzyków (dyszkantystów i organistów, a także związki G.G. Gorczyckiego z karmelitami) i repertuaru. W artykule udokumentowano bliższą współpracę zespołów zwłaszcza w II połowie XVIII wieku, w okresie kapelmistrzostwa wawelskiego muzyka Andrzeja Cienkiewicza.

The exchange of musicians and the transmission of repertoire between the various musical centres in Krakow have long interested Polish musicologists. As early as the inter-war period, Adolf Chybiński, a highly distinguished researcher of Cracow's musical culture, mentioned the personal links and repertoire exchange century between the most important musical ensembles in the 18th century Cracow, i.e. the cathedral ensemble, the ensemble at St Mary's Church and the Jesuit ensemble. To this group of the most important ensembles' we should add the Carmelite ensemble, which in the first half of the 18th century had in its repertoire, among others, works by Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki - the cathedral Kapellmaister - as well as pieces by musicians associated with the Cracow Jesuits (including Jacek Szczurowski and Józef Kobierkowicz). The aim of this article is to outline, in the light of the available archival material (such as music inventories, account books and others), the relationship between the Cracow Cathedral ensemble and the Carmelite ensemble at Piasek in Cracow. After a brief characterisation of the activities of both ensembles, the relationship between the ensembles in terms of exchange of musicians (discantists and organists, as well as G.G. Gorczycki's relationship with the Carmelites) and repertoire is discussed. The article documents the closer cooperation of the ensembles especially in the second half of the 18th century, during the period when a Kapellmeister of the Wawel was Andrzej Cienkiewicz.
