"Being separate together" : staged participation

Writing on Flag No. 5, initiated by Monika Drożyńska for the Theater Institute in Warsaw program (21-24.09.2017), Monika Kwaśniewska stresses the genre heterogeneity of the project, and examines the differences in the perception of participation, authorship, and hierarchy in the theater, the visual arts, and performance. At the same time, she explores the relationships between art, the institution, and the public, political, and national space.

Pisząc o "Fladze nr 5" zainicjowanej przez Monikę Drożyńską w ramach programu Placówka Instytutu Teatralnego w Warszawie (21-24.09.2017), Monika Kwaśniewska podkreśla heterogeniczność gatunkową projektu i rozważa różnice w postrzeganiu m.in. partycypacji, autorstwa, hierarchii w obrębie teatru, sztuk wizualnych i performansu. Jednocześnie bada relacje między sztuką, instytucją a przestrzenią publiczną, polityczną i narodową.
