Zapomniane stanowiska archeologiczne z okolic Królewca

One of the larger clusters of archaeological sites on the Samland Peninsula, including, among others, burial sites from the Roman Period and perhaps also from the Migration Period, as well as early medieval cemeteries, was discovered slightly west of Królewiec (Rus. Kaliningrad), near the former villages of Groß Friedrichsberg and Juditten, as well as Friedrichswalde. As a result of archival research, it was possible to distinguish nine sites located in the area in question and, in most cases, also determine their location. Some of these sites have never been mentioned in the literature, or the materials obtained from them have been mixed together.
