Factors Influencing Dynamics of the Non-state Higher Education Network in Contemporary Poland

The article, which is based on the analysis of economic and demographic statistics as well as on legal regulations, discusses how the period of the economic transformation in Poland brought about the conditions for the increase of the demand and supply for higher education.It also focuses on how it led to the dynamic development of non-state higher educational system in this period. The opportunities and threats for this system in the years to come, based on the authoress' own research, have also been presented.
