Role of Academic Community in the Support of the Development of SMEs in Lódz and the Lódz Region

The article presents an evaluation of current state of development and offer of the academic schools in Lódz and its region, concentrating on strong and weak aspects of their current activities. Afterwards, have been shown same changes of didactic and research offer of academic schools for small enterprises.
