Existuje další, neznámý rukopis Komenského „Pansofie“?

An investigation of the correspondence between J. Patočka and D. Chizhevsky has brought to light a disregarded fact related in the year of 1940 when the Prague Protestant theologian, František Bednář, published a recollection of his study stay in Halle/Saale where, near the end of the year 1905, he claims to have held in his hands a lengthy manuscript of pansophical writing by Comenius. F. Bednář did not show further interest in the manuscript once he had been assured by the librarian that it had been transcribed by another researcher, and he returned to his own studies. When three decades later he found out about the discovery of Comenius’ General Consultation on the Improvement of Human Affairs, he wrote about his earlier experience to the man who made the discovery, the same D. Chizhevsky. The latter, on the basis of Bednář’s communication, and his own investigations in the libraries of Halle/Saale, came to the conclusion that there must be another manuscript in Halle containing pansophical work by Comenius. For the time being, however, we are not acquainted with any clues that might lead us to it.
