ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN BIALYSTOK - IS IT GOOD OR BAD?

The article shows the results of a questionnaire-based research on the activity of enterprises and their future plans. The research was conducted in the first quarter of 2009 among the owners of enterprises from the sector of micro, small and medium Bialystok enterprises. During the surveys an at- tempt was made to diagnose the state of entrepreneurship in the capital of the Podlaskie Province. The research gave information both on the entrepreneurs, their motives for starting their own business, earlier experiences or problems that they had encountered at the start of their business, as well as on the current operation of the enterprises.
