Modelowanie logitowe i probitowe w kwalifikacji dobrobytu gospodarstw domowych

Zaprezentowano modele logitowe i probitowe, które mogą być wykorzystywana do identyfikacji nieubogich i ubogich gospodarstw domowych w oparciu o wybrane czynniki społeczno-ekonomiczne.

The aim of this article is to presentat the income poverty of households using the logit and probit models. In the measurement of poverty very important is the establishment which share of persons lives with income below poverty threshold. The logit and probit functions are very useful models to identify the poor/not poor households. Using the empirical data was obtained a good qualification results. Iin these models the determinated family factors which qualify the family as poor or not poor are: savings, the number of persons and number of children in the family. Especially the higher level of education gave the big influence to the decrease of the poverty. The demographic factors indicated the increase of the probability to be the poor family. The estimation of the probit and logit models gives the same comparable results.
