Stresses and strains analysis in elastic states of very slender column with square cross section compressed by balls. The problems of determining the stresses and strains in an axially compressed column with square cross section are presented in the paper. The problems are considered in the paper under conditions of the flat cross-sections and little slopes of the elastic line. The received theoretical results of the stresses and strains are presented for an example of the column with square cross section made of birch.

W pracy rozpatrywano problemy wyznaczania naprężeń i odkształceń w bardzo smukłej osiowo ściskanej kolumnie z brzozy o przekroju kwadratowym w stanach sprężystych przy założeniu hipotezy płaskich przekrojów i małych ugięć osi obojętnej. Otrzymane teoretyczne wyniki wartości naprężeń i odkształceń dla przykładowej kolumny przedstawiono na wykresach.
