Nowe dane o rzadko spotykanych chrząszczach (Coleoptera) Biebrzańskiego Parku Narodowego i jego otuliny
The data presented in this paper were collected as part of a study that addressed the effects of fire in April 2020 on selected natural elements of Biebrza National Park (BNP), NE Poland. The study was conducted at selected sites in the BNP representing six plant communities affected by the fire, as well as on the corresponding unburned areas. The beetles were captured from mid-May to late September 2020 using Moericke traps (i.e. yellow pan traps) set at a height of approximately 1 m above the ground. The study lists 29 beetle species from 14 families. Among them, two species were found that are new to the fauna of Poland: Eusphalerum sorbicola (K ANGAS, 1941) and Schistoglossa drusilloides (SAHLBERG, 1876) (Staphylinidae). Furthermore, the occurrence of Corticaria aphictoides REITTER, 1898 (Latridiidae) and Leiodes ruficollis (S AHLBERG, 1898) (Leiodidae) in Poland was confirmed, whereas Silvanus recticollis REITTER, 1876 (Silvanidae) is the second country record.
