Stresses in rebate joint in case construction

The stress analysis of a rebate joint in case construction was presented in the paper. The finite element method was used to determine the distributions of the stresses of selected places of the joint. The investigation into the effect of the size of the joint on the maximal values of these stresses was made.

Celem przedstawionych w pracy badań była analiza wytrzymałościowa połączenia narożnikowego o złączu wręgowym. Przeprowadzono ją przy wykorzystaniu metody elementów skończonych. Jej efektem było określenie rozkładów naprężeń w najbardziej zagrożonych miejscach złącza wręgowego oraz ustalenie wpływu wymiarów wręgu na maksymalne wartości tych naprężeń.
