The assessment of the woodworking industry development in conditions of the Czech Republic

The paper analyses the development of the woodworking industry in the Czech Republic from 2005 to 2010. The objective of this paper is to assess the influence of the economic crisis in relation to the development of a reference sector. The assessment of the woodworking industry is based on indicators of industrial production, number of business entities, employment in the sector, revenues, incomes, costs and profit. The paper also analyses indicators of added value, return of investment and foreign trade.
