Rolnictwo w nowych krajach członkowskich Unii Europejskiej

1 maja 2004 przyjęto do UE 10 nowych krajów, w tym Polskę. Rolnictwo tych krajów jest zróżnicowane pod względem liczby gospodarstw, udziału ziemi uprawianej w poszczególnych grupach gospodarstw, zatrudnienia i wyposażenia w kapital. Różnice oraz kierunki rozwoju rolnictwa w nowych krajach są przedmiotem rozważań w artykule.

On the May 1st, 2004, ten New Member States, including Poland, joined the European Union. Agriculture in these countries varies in terms of number of farms (holdings), land area cultivated by farms belonging to different size groups, agriculture employment and endowment of farms with capital. These differences are discussed in the paper and directions of future changes in the agriculture of the New Member States are outlined
