Nowe dane i uwagi o występowaniu rzadkich i reliktowych gatunków sprężykowatych (Coleoptera: Elateridae) na obszarze Polski
New data on the occurrence of rare species of click beetles (Coleoptera: Elateridae) in Poland are presented. The material was collected in Poland in 1995–2019. The data originated from private collections of beetles and the collection of beetles at the Department of Forest Protection, Entomology and Forest Climatology, University of Agriculture in Kraków (ZOLEiKL) were used. The survey of species has included those listed in the following studies: IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, List of Central European primeval forest relict species of saproxylic beetles, Polish Red Book of Animals, Red List of threatened animals in Poland, and species under legal protection in Poland. The result of the conducted research is the collection of new data on the occurrence of 11 species: Ampedus elegantulus, A. hjorti, A. melanurus, A. rufipennis, A. tristis, Denticolis borealis, D. interpositus, Elater ferrugineus, Quasimus minutissimus, Stenagostus rufus and Zorochros meridionalis. Another two species are confirmed to occur on areas where they were previously observed: Fleutiauxellus maritimus and Lacon lepidopterus. The collected data constitute a contribution to the knowledge about the distribution of rare Elateridae species in Poland and could be used, among other things, to protect their habitats.
