Determination of enantiomeric purity of lupanine isolated from various lupin species

The enantiomeric purity of lupanine samples isolated from various cultivars of Lupinus albus and L. angustifolius was determined by HPLC. The ee of the (+) -lupanine isolated from L. angustifolius cv. Turkus and the (-) -lupanine isolated (except for the racemic form) from L. albus cv. Satmarean was 99.9%. The lupanine isolated from L. albus cv. BAC was identified as racemate.

Określono nadmiar enancjomeryczny (ee) lupaniny wyizolowanej z różnych odmian łubinu, Lupinus albus i L. angustifolius, wykorzystując metodę HPLC z kolumną chiralną. (+) -Lupanina z L angustifolius cv. Turkus, jak i (-) -lupanina z L. albus cv. Satmarean zostały wyizolowane z 99,9°ó ee. Lupanina wyodrębniona z L. albus cv. BAC była mieszaniną racemiczną
